Seven & 21st Century Orchestra   

History Soul artist ‘Seven’ from Switzerland approached the 21st Century Orchestra to create a joint project in the KKL Luzern. ‘Seven’ contacted Arts Festivals to arrange and orchestrate his music for a 90 minute concert. Brief To generate new publicity for the ‘Seven’, to get a younger audience into a classical venue and to bring the orchestra into projects involving new genres of music. Most importantly, create a programme which has integrity which both orchestra and band could be proud of. Details New arrangements of the songs were created, then orchestrated. Orchestral only highlights were composed also allowing for special band ‘breakout’ moments to allow the players to shine as in their standard concerts.
